You work hard to keep your kids safe. We want to partner with you to make sure their safety is a priority whether they are at home or at school. Here are a few of the measures that we take to do what we can to protect your children while they are in our care.

BACKGROUND CHECKS
All Hope Academy, Preschool, and Church staff that work in the buildings during school hours are background checked by a third-party organization.

LOCKED DOORS
All exterior doors remain locked during school hours. There is a camera and doorbell system to make sure that every visitor is screened and, if permitted to enter, escorted onto and off of the property.

TRANSPARENCY
We believe that accountability is a gift. All classrooms and offices have doors with fully transparent, glass windows to ensure that even when doors are closed there is accountability in every room. Additionally, it is our policy that no adult is ever alone with a student.

CAMERAS
In addition to transparent doors, every public space has a surveillance camera with a 24/7 recording system. As you would expect, any room with assumed privacy (like a restroom) does not have a camera. However, all the entrances to restrooms are recorded.

SAFETY DRILLS
We comply with fire and safety drill requirements throughout the school year.
